Spain beats tourism record again

For the eighth consecutive year, 2017 has been another record-beating year for Spain’s tourism with more than 81,8 million visitors, 6,2 million tourists more than in 2016.

Cataluña is still the first destination with 19 million tourists, followed by Canarias with 14,2 million, Baleares with 13,8 million and Andalucía with 11,5 million in the 4th place.

United Kingdom continues being the main tourist source market with 19 million of tourists, followed by Germany and France with 11,7 and 11,2 million respectively.

Spain surpassed the United Stated to become the world’s second most visited country after France.
